Give Your Participants
Memorable Experiences In:
•Teambuilding
•Leadership
•Appreciation of Diversity
•Involvement in Community
•Celebration
Participants begin by playing small percussion for an icebreaker/warm-up activity, then add hand and stick drums to the ensemble as they continue through the process. Initially our facilitator will give plenty of instruction for them to succeed, but by the finale, they are free to improvise and create their own music.
All instruments provided. Absolutely no previous experience necessary - everyone plays.
We excel at designing unique events for our clients. Whatever your desired outcomes are, we input your message during the presentation. Just describe the results you want, and we'll design a special event for your community's success.
Rhythmic Options:
Community Drum Circles include bells, blocks, shakers, stick drums and hand drums for everyone to join in. High energy; maximum impact. Standard event time for a university is 75 - 90 minutes, which includes processing. Other options include Boom Whackers (percussion tubes) and/or body percussion and/or vocal percussion, as a warm up for the drum circle. In addition to the drumming and motivational messages, do not be surprised if your entire assembly gets up to dance while they play!
Boom Whackers are colorful, plastic percussion tubes which are simple to use, lightweight to transport, and have a delightful sound. If your budget or schedule requires an effective, quick, enjoyable way to connect your campus community, a 30 minute rhythm event played with Boom Whackers is the best option.
Crowd Energizers are a concise, impactful way to revive your group during an arduous day of seminars or lectures. Using lightweight instruments and/or body percussion, a 15 - 30 minute activity is a refreshing way to get your group moving (and thinking) again. Suggest scheduling mid afternoon, or just prior to the keynote address.

"It was an experience that reinforced much of what the [NCAA] Leadership Conference tries to teach: respect for the contribution and diversity of others; ways to effectively change the direction of the group without hitting a sour note; how to influence others to help create change; and how to recognize the importance of everyone's contribution."
