Fundamental Djembe SOLOS gives you patterns, riffs and phrases to help your solos sound fantastic. Learn universal elements you can combine in an infinite variety of arrangements and sequences. All the information is presented in musical call-and-response, play-along format.

The entire CD is call-and-response riffs for you to play with, and designed to be as educational as it is enjoyable. All the tracks have the lead djembe, accompanied by bells and dunun (bass drums), and many of the tracks also have accompanying djembe patterns so you can practice playing your leads within a full ensemble.

Each of the solo phrases are demonstrated at a moderate tempo, then played again at faster tempos, enabling you to learn and practice at the speed that is best for you.

There will be five discs in the Fundamental Djembe Series, and I need feedback from players of all levels of experience. Please join the Mailing List so I can send you some of the tracks while I am working on them. Tell me what you like, what you find most useful, and p-l-e-a-s-e offer suggestions for improvement. The more test drivers, the better. You get some of the newest material, for free, long before it is released publicly, and your suggestions will help me make the series the way you want it.
